An exciting programme of events are being planned to entertain visitors.

2011 Events

Falconry Scotland, incorporating Jedforest Falconry and Dalhousie Castle Falconry.
There will be a full static display of live birds of prey from 11 am to 3 pm, with the falconer talking and interacting with the public (no actual flying due to dog trials in progress).


Starting at 12:30 and judged by Stevie Braithwaite. Free entry.
4 separate classes to be judged with rosettes to 5th place and consolation prizes: ' Best Dog', ' Best Bitch', 'The dog the judge would most like to take home', and 'The dog with the most appealing eyes'.

Craft Marquee
With talented local artists and craftspersons, features will include demonstrations of "Sheep to Shawl" spinning & weaving (helped out by the Tweed Guild), along with Shepherd's Stick/Crook-Making by Borders Stickmakers.
Food & Drink Marquee
Barnett's Catering will provide excellent fare: morning breakfast rolls, full hot lunches with Carvery, soup, salads, coffee & teas, as well as traditional burger and ice cream vans. www.barnettscatering.com
