The 2009 Scottish National Sheepdog Trial makes a welcome return to Cocklicks Farm, Cummertrees, Annan, by kind permission of Mr. & Mrs. G. Marshall. The Scottish National was also held at Cocklicks Farm in 1999 and 2003.
The trial runs for three days, with a maximum of 50 dogs running each day, with the highest placed 15 dogs making up the Scottish team, to go to the International trial, which in 2009 is to be held at Lowther, near Penrith,

Coach Tours
In addition to the sheepdog trials, there will be various other attractions on going throughout the three days. These will include sightseeing and shopping coach trips on the Thursday and Friday.
For the Saturday there is to be an events ring scheduled to run from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Television Coverage
It has been announced that BBC Alba will be filming again at this year’s Scottish National Sheepdog trial, they will then be following the progress of the Scottish team at the International, held in September.
