Welcome

It is my very great pleasure as Scottish National Chairman to extend a warm welcome to everyone to come and join us at the 2012 National at Kypehill Farm Strathaven by kind permission of our hosts Mr & Mrs Alex Nimmo. The trial field will be well known to many of you as it has hosted two previous Scottish Nationals as well as Scottish Nursery Final. Kypehill is ideally situated being just 10 minutes off the M74 and the field itself  having a gentle slope upwards to the lift post provides excellent visibility for competitors and spectators alike. We have a good local committee with a balance of youth and experience. Bobby Henderson and Julie Hill are both past International Supreme winners and George Gardner a past International brace winner. Local accommodation is both plentiful and varied to suit all "tastes and budgets". For visitors who do not want to spend all three days watching trials there are plenty of local attractions: Clydeside garden centres and Glasgow with all its attractions are both 30 mins travel away; and the world famous Robert Owen Centre at New Lanark is well worth a visit. Hopefully the weather will be kind for us and you will enjoy your visit to this beautiful part of South Lanarkshire.
